One reason for World War 1 was when Nationalism in Europe made nations, for example, Germany, Russia, France seek land and force. A few countries rehearsed colonialism and began provinces. Countries needed to challenge their domains, so they made their armed forces and naval forces stronger. Militarism got to be prevalent. Patriotism, colonialism, and militarism were all reasons for World War 1. An alternate reason for World War 1 was when Archduke Ferdinand was killed. Archduke Ferdinand was killed in Sarajevo on June 28, 1914. Sarajevo is spotted in the European landmass.
