End of World WAr 1 summary
The United States joined the war in 1917. By then, the Central Powers and the Allies were depleted from three years of battling. Around one million American fighters went to France. The quality of this power helped the Allies win vital fights. In the long run, the Central Powers understood that they couldn't win the war and marked a cease-fire. A peace negotiation is a consent to quit battling. The war finished on November 11, 1918. In January 1919, pioneers of the Allied nations met in France to compose an arrangement. President Woodrow Wilson was one of those leaders.
